Who Am I?
Hello, my name is Kirsty – Also known as the Nomadic Diver! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and find out a little bit about me.
I am originally from a place called Hertfordshire, located just on the outskirts of London, England. I say originally because I spent from the age of 10 to 22, living in Almeria, Spain, where I would say, was where I grew up.
I have always loved the ocean and everything about it. So I was thrilled to learn that I was moving to be just minutes away from the beautiful Mediterranean sea. Although it took me 8 long years until I discovered the hobby of scuba diving.
At the age of 18, I traveled with my family to Malta, and I took my first dive and first PADI scuba diving course. After my first underwater breath, I instantly fell in love with it.
My dream ever since, to dive the world.
What is Ocean Scuba Dive?
With my love for everything ocean, came a great sense to share it with the world. Which is when Ocean Scuba Dive was created. Our goal here is to share the greatest, weirdest and coolest stuff about the 71 percent of our planet that doesn’t get that much attention – The ocean.
Ocean Scuba Dive has been dreamt with the idea of growing a community for like-minded ocean enthusiasts through its Discover, Dive, and Defend values.
Both through shareable and relatable content, our aim is to help people unlock the rest of the world through scuba diving and inspire others to love our oceans as much as we do — along with taking action to help protect it.
